WWE Smackdown’ results and recap: John Cena returns

‘WWE Smackdown’ results and recap: 11.01.13

This week’s episode of “WWE Smackdown” saw the return of John Cena to the program as the new world champion. Here is a look at the “WWE Smackdown” results and recap from the Nov. 1 episode of the show.
John Cena opened the show. Of course, Cena made his name on “Smackdown” before he was big-time, and this is what he considers to be the chance to elevate the world title into an important belt again. He cut a promo but was interrupted by The Real Americans.
Instead of attacking Cena, they congratulated him on beating Alberto Del Rio and asked him to join their faction. Cena responded by making fun of them before getting serious and turning them down. That brought out Damien Sandow. He said that Cena was a hypocrite who was handed everything, including a world title match in his first one back from injury.
Just when it looked like they were all going to attack Cena, Goldust and Cody Rhodes ran in for the save. A six-man match was set for later in the card.
More teasing on the breakup of The Shield happened next when Dean Ambrose decided he should team up with Seth Rollins to face the Usos instead of Roman Reigns. Big E Langston came down to even the odds and The Usos won when Jimmy pinned Ambrose.
The Wyatt Family beat The Prime Time Players in the next match.
The Miz came out next for Miz TV and his guest was supposed to be Shawn Michaels, but HBK had already left the building. Miz called out Randy Orton and said that Orton wouldn’t be champion if not for Michaels, but Orton said he was better than Daniel Bryan. He then mentioned that Big Show was banned from the WWE for life and hit the RKO on Miz.
Natalya and the Bella Twins beat AJ Lee, Tamina Snuka and Alicia Fox when Natalya made AJ tap out.
The main event was amazing and went over 20 minutes. John Cena, Cody Rhodes and Goldust picked up the big win over The Real Americans and Damien Sandow when Cena hit the Attitude Adjustment on Jack Swagger for the win.
